PURPOSE:To blow off an air flow in a desired direction by shielding the side wall of a housing from the rear end of a louver in linkage with the operation of a knob for adjusting the direction of the air flow. CONSTITUTION:When an operating knob 13 is turned rightwardly a pin 17 moves in the leftwardly with the knob 13, and a link 18 rotates leftwardly. For this reason, a link 19' moves to the remote side of a housing 10, and a shutting plate 20' rotates leftwardly around a pin 21, an air passage in the vicinity of the side wall 10b of the housing 10 is interrupted. As a result, air flowing along the side wall 10b is guided up to a louver 12 by a shutting plate 20' without resistance, and it is possible to blow off air in accordance with the direction of the louver 12.
