The deflector (1) has a flat material web (19) arranged within a frame. The frame is divided into a pair of partial frames connected rotatably to each other by a pivot joint (10). The pivot joint is arranged at the frame, such that the deflector is hinged backward from a folded storage position into a usage position. The pivot joint has a flexible element with a set of fixing sections at both sides of a bent section for fixing to one of the partial frames. The flexible element consists of rubber, nylon, plastic or rubber and/or plastic mixture.
