The clamping device has a hub pivot (8) projecting from a hub part (5) and tapering toward a base part (2). A torsion spring (12) encompasses the hub pivot and designed as a cylindrical coil spring. The base part is coupled with a clamping arm (3) for production of an initial load acting on a traction unit. A stabilizing body (19) transfers radial forces and fills a gap between the torsion spring and the hub pivot approximately, where the body is supported outward at exposed spring coils (20) adjacent to the body and inward at an outer side (24) of the hub pivot under pre-loading.
