<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To harmonize users with one another in obtaining information from the users, thereby preventing inequality due to the information provided by the users. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity information providing system 1 includes a cellphone 2 for sending purchase information 130 including information on commodities electronically paid for; and a commodity information providing server 6 having a purchase information database for accumulating the purchase information 130, a search performing part for performing searches upon commodity search requests from the cellphone 2, and a commodity information creating/sending part for sending commodity information 140 to the cellphone 2 based on search results. The cellphone 2 has a storage part for storing additional information including user information, and a wireless communication part for adding the additional information to the purchase information 130 and sending it. The commodity information providing server 6 includes a purchase information obtaining part for obtaining the purchase information 130 with the additional information added, and accumulating it in the purchase information database, and a search criteria varying part for varying the search criteria of the search performing part based on the amount of information that the user of the cellphone 2 provides in the form of the additional information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
