ION-EXCHANGEABLE FILTER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion-exchangeable filter having excellent durability and high performance of removing ion components contained in a gas, a method for manufacturing the ion-exchangeable filter easily and a nonwoven fabric useful as a reinforcing body for an ion exchange membrane or a filter for treating a liquid.

SOLUTION: The ion-exchangeable filter consists of the nonwoven fabric containing a fluorine-based ion exchange polymer-containing fiber. The ratio of a fluorine-based ion exchange polymer to the nonwoven fabric (100 mass%) is ≥95 mass%. The method for manufacturing the ion-exchangeable filter comprises a step of manufacturing the nonwoven fabric by an electrospinning method using a spinning solution containing the fluorine-based ion exchange polymer and a solvent.
