PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture capable of forming a cement composition which has a high water-reducing performance and is excellent in early-stage strength. SOLUTION: The cement admixture comprises a polycarboxylic acid copolymer (A) and an alkanolamine compound (B), wherein the polycarboxylic acid copolymer (A) has a structural unit derived from a specific unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether monomer and a structural unit derived from a specific unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer.
