PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing data inspection method and a drawing data inspection device, capable of easily detecting an error of drawing data created from design data in a short time. SOLUTION: The drawing data inspection method for rasterizing design data described in a vector format to create drawing data to be drawn on a substrate comprises processes of performing conversion of the design data to raster data that forms the drawing data and reconversion of the raster data to vector data; and comparing the design data with the vector data to determine matching/mismatching between the design data and the vector data.
