PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate distillation of azeotropic mixture and the like easily and in a short time. SOLUTION: A simulator 1 includes: a storage section 5 storing a formula A indicating the correspondence relation between the value obtained by dividing steam flow rate S of a reboiler by supply fow rate F of raw material mixture and composition of gaseous components flowing out from the top of a column; and a control section 3 calculating, on the basis of the formula A read out of the storage section 5 and the steam flow rate S of the reboiler and the supply flow rate F of the raw material mixture, the composition of the gaseous components flowing out from the top of the column.
