PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient filtration and deaeration. SOLUTION: In a water treatment apparatus, a plurality of water treatment units 5a, 5b in which feed water pumps 2a, 2b, filtration membrane parts 3a, 3b, and membrane deaeration parts 4a, 4b are connected in series are connected parallel to each other, a controller 14 which sets the feed water pumps 2a, 2b to a stopping state, a low flow rate, or a high flow rate to make the water treatment units 5a, 5b stop, operate at half load, or operate at full load is installed. The controller 14 enables selection between a first control state of setting the plurality of feed water pumps 2a, 2b to the low flow rate, and a second control state of setting one of the feed water pumps 2a, 2b to the high flow rate and the other to the stopping state.
