Disclosed is a novel fused pyrrole derivative which is composed of a compound represented by the formula (1) below, a prodrug, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of any of them. This novel fused pyrrole derivative is useful as a pharmaceutical product. [In the formula, R<SUP>1</SUP> represents a substituted alkyl group or the like; R<SUP>2</SUP> represents a hydrogen atom or the like; -W<SUP>4</SUP>=W<SUP>5</SUP>-W<SUP>6</SUP>=W<SUP>7</SUP>- represents the following formula: -CR<SUP>4</SUP>=CR<SUP>5</SUP>-CR<SUP>6</SUP>=CR<SUP>7</SUP>- or the like (wherein R<SUP>4</SUP>, R<SUP>5</SUP>, R<SUP>6</SUP> and R<SUP>7</SUP> independently represent the following formula: -E-A or the like (wherein E represents a single bond or the like and A represents a hydrogen atom or the like)); R<SUP>8</SUP> represents a hydrogen atom or the like; R<SUP>9</SUP> represent an alkyl group substituted by a halogen atom, or the like; and R<SUP>10</SUP> represents a hydrogen atom or the like.]
