LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL WITH MICROLENS ARRAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel of high reliability and high quality wherein occurrence of trouble is suppressed during manufacturing and use.

SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel 10 includes: a bonded substrate 12 including a pair of substrate and a liquid crystal layer 34 disposed between the pair of substrates; a microlens array 14 provided to the light incidence side of the bonded substrate 12; a support 26 provided to the light incidence side of the bonded substrate 12 so as to surround the microlens array 14; and an optical film 23 stuck to the bonded substrate 12 through the support 26. The support 26 includes at least one gap formed in the support 26 or at least one slit extending from the surface of the support 26 to the inside of the support 26.
