PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic range scale circuit which can solve the problem involved in the conventional dynamic range scale circuit by a small circuit scale by actualizing arithmetic processing using neither a multiplying circuit nor a dividing circuit. SOLUTION: The dynamic range scale circuit has: a maximum output means for outputting a maximum of an absolute value of input data in a predetermined sample period; a constant value judging means; a delay means; a multiplying means for multiplying input data delayed by the delay means by a constant value; and a bit-width converting means, wherein the constant value judging means compares the maximum with a value of power of two, and outputs the value obtained by multiplying the reciprocal number of a minimum value among values of power of two which is equal to or larger than a maximum by a specified value, as a constant value represented as a value of power of two, and the multiplying means multiplies the constant value represented as the value of power of two by the input data delayed by the delay means through bit shift processing.
