PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household fire alarm that can make effective use of a speaker as a speaker for reproducing voice data received through a signal line under normal conditions where there is no fire. SOLUTION: The household fire alarm includes a voice data receiving means E for receiving voice data input through a signal line connecting terminal 12A; a switch means F for switching a voice sounding means D between an alarm sound creation means C and the voice data receiving means E; and a control means A for operating the switch means F to switch the voice sounding means D between the alarm sound creation means C and the voice data receiving means E.
