APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING ALARM MESSAGE

An apparatus for transmitting an alarm message is provided to transmit an SMS(Short Message Service) to a manger when an error occurs by monitoring an operation state of facilities through a computer. An apparatus for transmitting an alarm message includes an input port(10), a memory unit(20), a control unit(30), an output port(40), a key input unit(50), and a display unit(60). The input port has a plurality of ports and receives an event of NO(Normal Open)/NC(Normal Close) through each of the ports in response to an operation state of facilities. The memory unit stores a phone number of a manager and an alarm message text of the event. The control unit reads and outputs the alarm message text and the phone number of the manager stored in the memory unit if the event is inputted from the input port. The output port has a first output port and a second output port. The first output port is coupled to a wireless SMS terminal which transmits the alarm message. The second output port is coupled to the control unit and outputs an operation state of the control unit. The second output port is coupled to a computer which receives the alarm message and monitors the operation state of the facilities. The key input unit sets the alarm message of the event and the operation of the control unit. The display unit has at least one of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) for displaying the operation state of the control unit with a graphic, and a plurality of display lamps which are switched on/off based on the operation state of the control unit.
