The scaffold (1) has outer and inner cutting posts (2, 2', 3, 3') whose upper ends are connected with support boards (8, 10) over turning blocks (7', 9, 9'). The blocks are pivotable with respect to the upper ends of the posts in a range of 180 degrees. The blocks are lockable in start and end positions in the pivotable region opposite to the upper ends of the posts, and are unlockable in a position of the upper ends. The boards are connectable with each other in a horizontal position by a form-fit connection, where a connection part (19) formed as a link chain (20) has a variable length.
