<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to load all data on a chip in which the capacity of an EEPROM is small since data quantity to be used for processing is increased due to the high functionality of an IC card, and a large amount of the capacity of the EEPROM is used. <P>SOLUTION: When data are written, the data are automatically compressed and written into an EEPROM, and when the data are read to the outside, the data are automatically decompressed. Thus, it is possible to prevent any special processing from being performed by an external terminal, and to improve use efficiency of the EEPROM, and to load many applications even on a chip in which the capacity of the EEPROM is small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
