PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubricity of a piston in a two cycle internal combustion engine constructed to open and close an opening part to an inside of a cylinder 2 of a scavenge port 7 by the piston 6 reciprocating in a cylinder and provided with an upper part piston ring 10 and a lower part piston ring 11 at an upper end part and a lower end part on an outer circumference surface of the piston, respectively. SOLUTION: At least a pair of longitudinal weir parts 13, 14 bulging outward from the outer circumference surface of the piston are provided to extend in an axial direction of the piston and reach the upper part piston ring and the lower part piston ring with suitable intervals held in a circumference direction on a part out of the outer circumference surface of the piston 6 between the upper part piston ring 19 and the lower part piston ring 11 and not corresponding to the opening part of the scavenge port 7 in a view from an axial direction of the cylinder.
