PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device that reduces effects of heat-generation in the drive circuit. SOLUTION: A supply path 100 is provided so as to selectively supply drive power to each individual electrode 52 provided in a piezoelectric actuator 40. The drive power is outputted from a drive circuit 80, mounted on a flexible wiring material 70, in order to discharge liquid-droplets from nozzles. The supply path is configured as follows. An internal resistance part R1 is provided inside a package 80a of the drive circuit 80. An external resistance part R2 is provided on the piezoelectric actuator 40 side being the outside of the package 80a. Both of the resistance parts are connected in series. Electric resistance R of the drive circuit 80 is a sum of electric-resistance values of each resistance part R1 and R2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
