<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost method of manufacturing a case which retains its shape even when using a soft leather and has excellent quality. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a case comprises the steps of arranging a laminate 2 composed of a metal plate 11 shaped in a predetermined shape, a leather-made sheet material 13 and an adhesive sheet 12 formed between the metal plate 11 and the sheet material 13, in a mold 1, and heating the laminate 2 in this state to adhere the sheet material 13 to the surface of the metal plate 11 to integrate.
