<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the disagreement of a steering angle and a turning angle at the time of starting or completing in a configuration of mechanically separating a steering wheel from a steering gear. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicular control device 1, a starting state signal generating means 53 generates a starting state signal during a period of time determined by a timer 53A when an ignition switch 43 is turned ON. A completing state signal generating means 54 generates a completing state signal during a period of time determined by a timer 54A when the ignition switch 43 is turned OFF. While the starting state signal or the completing signal is output, a driving motor 12 is driven to make the steering angle agree with the turning angle.
