PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for electrophoresis display panel which can suppress an unnecessary increase in power consumption, a driving method for the electrophoresis display panel, an electrophoresis display device, and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: An output circuit X40 which supplies a drive voltage to a segment electrode VSEG0 has transfer gates TG1 and TG2 which are complementary opened and closed based upon the signal level of a data signal DIN based upon voltage data composing serial data. A first control signal S1 is input to the transfer gate TG1. A second control signal S2 is input to the transfer gate TG2.
