PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device suppressing a liquid from entering fine concave portions and a belt. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes a conveying belt 8 disposed around a belt roller 6. The conveying belt 8 includes a base material 21 and an adhesive layer 22 formed on the outer peripheral face of the base material 21. Many concave portions 25 opening in the front surface 8a are formed in the adhesive layer 22. The opening width relating to the conveying direction B of the concave portions 25 is enlarged when moving from the area which does not span the roller 6 to the area which spans the roller 6 is disposed.
