PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving machine for restraining consumption of power for accumulating elastic energy in a spring. SOLUTION: This driving machine 1 comprises a motor 31 installed in a housing 2, a plunger 63 arranged in the housing 2 and driving a nail 1A, a coil spring 62 energizing the plunger 63, and a wire 52 interposed between the motor 31 and the plunger 63 and moving the plunger 63 in an anti-driving direction by a driving force of the motor 31. The plunger 63 includes a blade 63B driving the nail 1A, and an energization part 63A energized to the coil spring 62. An interior range which is an inside of the coil spring 62 on a trajectory when the coil spring 62 is shrunk on a cross section orthogonal to a driving direction is defined in the energization part 63A, and one end of the wire 52 is fixed in an interior area of the energization part 63A matched with a profile of an inner periphery of the coil spring 62.
