PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overload preventing system by which overload on a carrier is surely prevented irrespective of specifications of the carrier. SOLUTION: In the overload preventing system, the carrier comprises a load quantity detecting means 33 detecting the load quantity of the carrier, a travelling state judging means 34 judging whether the carrier is in a travelling state, a load state judging means 39 judging whether the load quantity reaches a predetermined value, a load prohibition command transmitting means 40 transmitting the load prohibition command to a loading machine when the load quantity reaches the predetermined value, and a prohibition cancellation command transmitting means 41 transmitting a prohibition cancellation command to the loading machine to cancel the load prohibition command when the carrier is judged to be in a travelling state. The loading machine comprises a working machine for performing loading work, a receiving means receiving the load prohibition command and the prohibition cancellation command, and a working machine operation prohibiting means prohibiting operation of the working machine when the load prohibition command is received and canceling the prohibition of the operation of the working machine when the prohibition cancellation command is received.
