<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the width of a walking aid compact when a support is folded. <P>SOLUTION: The walking aid includes the support 3 attached to a base 7 in such a way as foldable; a pair of left and right wheel frames 6 to which wheels are attached; a connection mechanism 22 for attaching the wheel frames 6 to the base in such a way as oscillatable in the cross direction; and an opening/closing mechanism 23 to interlock with the folding of the support 3 for narrowing the space between the left and right wheel frames 6 and to interlock with the erection of the support 3 for widening the space between the left and right wheel frames 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
