PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile construction machine capable of constructing a pile foundation superior in quality, without damaging its constituting apparatus and a pile, even when a pile diameter and a ground property are variously changed. SOLUTION: This pile construction machine 100 is equipped with an auger driving device 4 having two variable displacement hydraulic motors 10 and 20 having a combination of its rotating speed and torque by two patterns or more and having a reduction gear 30 reducing rotation of the hydraulic motors 10 and 20 so as to be freely liftable along a leader of a base machine 1. The hydraulic motors 10 and 20 are hydraulic motors respectively different in output performance composed of torque performance and rotational performance, and have a storage means for storing an output pattern of the auger driving device 4 regulated from the output performance possessed by the respective hydraulic motors 10 and 20 and the existence of driving of the respective hydraulic motors 10 and 20, and a selecting means for driving the auger driving device 4 by automatically selecting the output pattern in the storage means.
