PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time when instructed to print multiple copies of the same image. SOLUTION: A photo printer determines whether or not a closed border line has been drawn on a touch panel on the basis of touch positions detected by the touch panel while a predetermined photographic image is displayed in a selection photograph display area 21 on a display. When a closed border line is drawn, the closed area of the image or the other area is set as a trimming area. In this manner, a user draws a closed border line of a desired shape on a predetermined image to set the closed area or the other area as a trimming area.
