PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing cissing of an electrodeposition coating film of a highly corrosion-resistant and highly weather-resistant cationic electrodeposition coating when being baked. SOLUTION: The method for preventing cissing of the electrodeposition coating film of the cationic electrodeposition coating comprising (a) an amine-modified polyphenol polyglycidyl ether-type epoxy resin and (b) an alicyclic polyisocyanate curing agent which are dispersed in an aqueous medium containing a neutralizer, when being baked, comprises adding (c) 1-20 wt.% acrylic copolymer having an SP value of at least 0.5 lower than that of the component (a), having a number-average molecular weight of 1,000-50,000, and an amine value of 10-100 as the solid content based on the total of the solids content of the components (a) and (b) to the coating.
