PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of easily acquiring unoccupied game machine information out of a game parlor. SOLUTION: The game system comprises a plurality of game machines, a server capable of communicating with the respective game machines, an outside communication means for transmission to an external device. Each game machine comprises a detection means for detecting whether the game machine is operated or not, and an operating state transmitting means. The server comprises operation information receiving means, a control means for specifying the game machine in the unoperated state based on the received operation information, and an unoccupied game machine information output means. The outside communication means comprises a requested information receiving means for receiving the requested information from the external device and an unoccupied game machine information transmitting means for transmitting the unoccupied game machine information transmitted from the unoccupied game machine information output means of the server to the external device.
