PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to perform layout while skipping a specific sheet in a page data generating method of multi-layout to a plurality of sheets within a page. SOLUTION: In the page data generating method for layout to a plurality of sheets within a page in a predetermined order and in the order of arranging data of an external file, possibility of layout can be designated for each of the plurality of sheets. The possibility of layout can be designated by using a page image panel 52 to selectively add a denial mark 58 such as "×" to a sheet that is not desired to be outputted, with a mouse cursor or the like.
