PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame structure which enables the width of a jamb in one room to be set equal to that of a jamb in the other room. SOLUTION: A door frame 5 is mounted in an opening section 4 for entrance/exit between the one room 1 and the other room 2. One side of an internal surface portion of the jamb 6 of the door frame 5 is stepped down to form a step-down portion 8 in which an end of a door 7 is located when closed. Either, on the side of the step-down portion 8, of both side surfaces of the jamb 6 serves as a first indoor exposed surface portion 9 which is exposed to the one room. One width-direction end of the first indoor exposed surface portion 9 is composed of an outer surface-side protrusion 10 which is protruded toward the other side of the step-down portion 8 from an outer surface of the jamb 6. The other one of both the side surfaces of the jamb 6 serves as a second indoor exposed surface portion 11 which is exposed to the other room 2.
