PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article acquisition game device which enables the arrangement position and size of an article mounting section arranged in an article storage section to be easily changed, enables the position and size of an article dropping port to be changed, and enables a layout in the article storage section to be easily changed. SOLUTION: The article acquisition game device includes: an article acquisition section 30 movably arranged in the storage section 3; a moving means for moving the article acquisition section 30; an article placing section 25 arranged in the storage section 3 and placing the articles thereon; an article dropping port 35 discharging the articles outside acquired by the article acquisition section 30; and a control means 100 controlling the operations of the article acquisition section 30 in response to information input from operating sections 13X and 13Y operated by players. The article placing section 25 has a first article placing section 21 and a second article placing section 23 forward and backward movably attached to the first article placing section 21.
