PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy material which is used as a core material of a brazing sheet of an aluminum alloy and has superior secular strength at a high temperature.

SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy material is used as the core material (C1) of the brazing sheet B31 (or B32) of the aluminum alloy, which has a brazing filler material (F) at least on one side of the core (C1); and comprises more than 2.5 but 3.5 mass% or less Cu and the balance aluminum with unavoidable impurities.
