PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval method applied to retrieval of Internet information. SOLUTION: This information retrieval method provides an information retrieval system having a hot key in the first place, and then, determines that the hot key is operated, and when the hot key is finally operated, the information retrieval system is connected to a retrieval engine, and preselected key data is duplicated in an inquiry field of a web page of the retrieval engine, and a retrieval result page is formed.
