PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent cleanability and low temperature fixability, hardly causing adhesion of a toner component on a carrier even after long repeated use and hardly degrading chargeability. SOLUTION: The toner includes a paraffin wax having a melting point of 60 to 90°C and a montmorillonite or a modified montmorillonite. In a DSC measurement of the toner, an endothermic quantity at an endothermic peak specified to the release agent is from 3.0 to 6.0 J/g. The toner shows the average circularity of not less than 0.94. When a cone rotor is made to enter the toner powder phase in a specified toner evaluation method, the torque is from 1.4 to 2.0 mNm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
