A data storage device is provided, comprising a processor, an input-output port and a data storage element, the input-output port being arranged to engage with a communications port of a mobile telecommunications device such that the data storage device and the mobile telecommunications device can transfer data therebetween, the data storage element having data stored thereupon corresponding to graphic content, the processor being arranged to receive a request for data from the mobile telecommunications device, to retrieve data corresponding to the graphic content from the data storage element and to pass said data to the mobile telecommunications device via the input-output port, the data being arranged to be appended to a message to be transmitted from the mobile telecommunications device. |
