<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of suppressing the deterioration of efficiency while minimizing the amount of the emission of an unreacted fuel gas. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system is provided with a fuel cell 10 having cells 100, and structured constituted so that each cell 100 has a hydrogen passage groove 121 and a cooling water passage groove 130; the hydrogen passage groove 121 and the cooling water passage groove 130 are arranged adjacently to each other, and, in the cooling water passage groove 130, a first region D2 adjacent to a hydrogen outlet part D1 of the hydrogen passage groove 121 is located on the upstream side of a cooling water flow relative to a second region E2 adjacent to a hydrogen inlet part E1 of the hydrogen passage groove 121. When a local current of the hydrogen outlet part D1 is set below a first reference current value, the flowing direction of the cooling water in the cooling water passage groove 130 is reversed to position the first region D2 on the downstream side of the cooling water flow relative to the second region E2 in the cooling water passage groove 130. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
