<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing the occurrence of tucking with almost no decrease in printing speed. <P>SOLUTION: In printing images on both sides of paper by a first printing job, the image forming apparatus prints at a second printing speed that is a half of a first printing speed. If receiving a second printing job during the first printing job, the image forming apparatus prints for the second printing job during the first printing job. For example, after images are printed on the surface of the forty-first paper and the back of the forty-second paper in the first printing job, images are printed on the surface of the first paper and the back of the second paper in the second printing job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
