PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine and a vending machine system which are convenient for purchasers with a wide range of attributes that differ in inclinations. SOLUTION: A purchaser puts a storage medium close to the vending machine 1 when he desires to purchase a commodity sold in the vending machine 1. The vending machine 1 reads attribute information recorded on the storage medium (S101), calculates the score of each commodity by multiplying the read attribute information by a weight coefficient associated therewith (S102) and determines an order of each commodity, based on the score (S104). The vending machine 1 selects a display template, based on the attribute information (S105), and displays an image of commodities in a layout and size, based on the selected display template (S107).
