PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless transmitter capable of preventing nonoperation of a luminaire due to judgment by the luminaire lit by the wireless transmitter itself that the surrounding area is brighter than predetermined illuminance. SOLUTION: When presence of a person is detected by a human-body sensor 12, a control part 14 in this wireless transmitter 10 generates and outputs a control signal comprising an illuminance signal representing brightness of the surrounding area based on a detection signal supplied from a brightness sensor 13, and a lighting time signal representing a lighting time lighting the luminaire, and operates an internal timer simultaneously with the output of the control signal to count only the lighting time represented by the lighting time signal. The control part 14 acquires the brightness of the surrounding area detected by the brightness sensor 13 immediately after the counting by the internal timer is completed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
