PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission technology for acquiring the latest information while suppressing a load to be imposed on a network. SOLUTION: A peer 1B transmits a meta data subscription request to request meta data notifying the update of data to be transmitted to a peer 1A. When receiving the meta data transmitted according to the meta data subscription request, the peer 1B acquires data corresponding to the meta data. The peer 1A stores the data to be transmitted, and generates the meta data corresponding to the data. Also, the peer 1A newly generates the meta data when the data are updated, and transmits the meta data to the peer 1B which has transmitted the meta data subscription request.
