<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that is prepared by melt kneading an all aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester with titanium oxide particles, and has a good white light reflectance and high hardness at a welded part, while maintaining an excellent heat resistance and moldability of the all aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin composition is produced by melt-kneading a resin composition prepared by combining a 100 pts.mass all aromatic thermotropic liquid crystal polyester, an 8-42 pts.mass titanium oxide powder, that is prepared by surface treatment of a 97-85 mass% white pigment obtained by a method including roasting process by 3-15 mass% aluminium oxide (provided that sum total of the both is 100 mass%), a 25-50 pts.mass glass fiber, and another 0-8 pts.mass inorganic filler, wherein, the melt kneading process using the biaxial kneader is so conducted that at least one part of the glass fiber is supplied from a position locating at least 30% down flow side of the total length of the cylinder of the biaxial kneader. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
