PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a function of suppressing common mode current in a power line communication device without lowering reliability. SOLUTION: The choke coil 35 which suppresses a common mode current is constituted by wounding a core 36 made of a magnetic material with two covered cables 31, obtained by partially opening a vinyl flat cord as a typical power cord 3, in a right/left symmetrical shape.
