PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display in which a continuity test between a conductive layer and a housing can be easily performed, even when it is difficult to bring a lead of a tester for continuity test into contact with the conductive layer grounded to the housing. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display is provided with a liquid crystal panel 1 on which a conductive film 18 is arranged; a conductive housing 3; first and second connecting parts 31, 32 of a conductor for electrically connecting the conductive film 18 to the housing 3 by contacting with both of the conductive film 18 and the housing 3; and an aperture 3h. Since an inspection member 41a is inserted from the aperture 3h into the device, contact between the second connecting part 32 and the housing 3 can be prevented, electrical connection between the second connecting part 32 and the housing 3 is released, and the second connecting part 32 is electrically connected to the inspection member 41a.
