A motor control device is a device for controlling a fan motor and controls motor speed so as to maintain a predetermined airflow value. The motor control device comprises an input terminal for receiving a first operation parameter indicating motor speed or a second operation parameter indicating motor torque. The motor control device also comprises a motor speed target value calculation unit for calculating, using the predetermined airflow value and the motor torque, necessary modification values for the motor speed at a predetermined time interval. The motor control device further comprises an output terminal for outputting a specified motor speed based on the necessary modification values.
