A transfer head of a laser transfer apparatus is provided to reduce tact time by floating a transfer plate with respect to a surface to be transferred. A transfer head of a laser transfer apparatus comprises a transfer plate holder(103), transfer head gas(104), a holder supporter, and a transfer plate floating unit. The transfer plate holder supports a transfer plate(101) on its bottom surface, and a transfer window(103a) for exposing the transfer plate upward. The transfer head gas provides the standard of position in horizontal and vertical directions, and has a space for placing the transfer plate holder. The holder supporter supports the transfer plate holder placed in the space to move only in vertical direction with the respect to the transfer head gas. The transfer plate floating unit floats the transfer plate with respect to a surface to be transferred for each transfer plate holder by spraying pressure air to the lower part of the transfer plate.
