<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power transmission apparatus capable of reducing various losses and meeting the regulations stipulated in the regulations of utilization of frequencies, when saving power in power transmission. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a power transmitter 1 and a power receiver 2, such that a primary coil 16 is coupled electromagnetically to a secondary coil 21 so that the power transmitter 1 can transmit power to the power receiver 2. The power transmitter 1 for intermittently supplying power to the primary coil 16 supplies power to the primary coil 16, by using a frequency lower than a resonant frequency, when a primary side serial resonant circuit has no load during a predetermined period after the start of power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
