LATEST POPULAR INFORMATION INFORMING PROGRAM, RECORDING MEDIUM, DEVICE, AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to grasp the latest popular information efficiently by picking up the popular information from among the articles on a web and informing the user having not read the latest article of its outline.

SOLUTION: When the user registers an object such as his/her own company name that the user wants to know its reputation as a keyword in a keyword registering part 22, a polling part 28 retrieves documents existent in the Internet with respect to the keyword periodically by using a latest information retrieving part 26. A popular information extracting part 30 analyzes the retrieved document, extracts popular words to prepare a pair of popular words by combining with the object, calculates a score indicating degree of reputation, and registers the information of document outline together with the pair of popular words and the score in a database 42 for informing reputation. A popular information display part 40 extracts the document from the database for informing reputation and displays the information of the document outline by ranking based on the scores.
