<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system connected to a host device such as a personal computer (PC) to carry out print processing of compressed XPS document data. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system and the host device for use in the system are provided for recording information such as data CRS information in a predetermined area of a file header part when a predetermined flag of the file header part is set ON by a filter driver of the host device, and carrying out parallel processing of print data receiving processing, extension processing, rendering, and the like to shorten a print processing time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
