PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image acquiring apparatus having improved operability for vertical photographing and operability for a left-handed person by attaching an option device to the existing digital camera. SOLUTION: The image acquiring apparatus is provided with a connector for an external interface, an option device attaching means, and a freely detachable option device for special photographing.
